ABOUT US

Yash Chandan established BIOPAPRO Private Limited in Mumbai, India, with his partner Nikunj Bhansali and Director, Kunal Bhansal after completing his studies as a business entrepreneur in 2019. The brand revolves around the ethos of sustainable and eco-friendly living.

The trio shares a common inspiration for addressing the issue of plastic use. BIOPAPRO aims to improve the manufacturing and adaptation of biodegradable products in India. The genesis of the brand was led by a strong and unfulfilled desire to change the way we live our lives and make us grateful for what nature has given us. 

We are one of India's biggest manufacturers of paper straws and wooden cutlery. We produce around 100 million pieces of wooden cutlery each month, saving 6,500 kg of plastic per day.
